Create your workspace

Create a fresh start

In the fictional Orbit app, select Create workspace, enter your team name, and choose a unique workspace address. A workspace is the home for your projects, collections, and teammates.

A good name is simple: use your company, team, or the project you are bringing to life.

Build your first project

1. Open Projects from the sidebar.
2. Select New project and add a name and a short description.
3. Choose an owner and a target date.
4. Add your first three tasks.

Keep each task small enough to finish in a day or two. You can always add more detail later.

Add a note

Open the Notes tab inside your project. Write down the goal, any constraints, and how you will know the work is done. A little context now saves a lot of questions later.

Bring your team along

Once the basics are in place, invite your teammates. Everyone joins the same workspace, so there is one shared picture of the work.
