A few things you might be wondering about Orbit. Let’s clear them up.
WorkspaceHow do I invite my team?
Open Workspace settings → Members → Invite, enter their email address, choose a role, and select Send invitation. Only owners and admins can invite teammates. Invitations expire after 7 days; resend them from the Members page if needed.
AppearanceCan I use dark mode?
Yes. Use the theme button in the help center header to switch between Light, Dark, and System. System follows your device settings. Your choice is remembered on this device.
BillingCan I connect my own domain?
Yes. Prod Forum Starter (from $9/month with your own AI key) and Growth (from $29/month with your own AI key) include custom domains. Add your hostname in Domains, point its CNAME to customers.prodforum.com, and add the verification records shown. The domain activates only after Cloudflare confirms ownership and issues an active TLS certificate.
BillingWhat is included in the free plan?
Prod Forum’s Free plan includes 25 articles, 50 assistant questions per calendar month, a public roadmap, changelog, FAQs, and light and dark themes. It uses your hosted Prod Forum address. Custom domains are available on active paid plans.
AssistantWhere do assistant answers come from?
The assistant uses only this workspace’s published documentation and FAQs. Draft pages and other workspaces are excluded. Answers link to their sources. When AI is unavailable, the help center shows explicitly labeled documentation excerpts instead of a generated answer.
WorkspaceCan I restore an archived project?
In this fictional Orbit workflow, archived projects are read-only but remain searchable. Open Workspace settings → Archived projects, select a project, and choose Restore. Deletion is permanent, so archive work you might need again.
BillingCan I change or cancel my plan?
The Prod Forum workspace owner can open Billing → Manage subscription to change or cancel through the Stripe billing portal. When a subscription is no longer active, the workspace returns to Free plan allowances and custom domains stop serving the help center. Published content remains available at its hosted Prod Forum address.
AssistantWhat happens when I reach my question limit?
Assistant questions reset at the start of each UTC calendar month. Free includes 50, Starter includes 500, and Growth includes 2,500 questions. When the allowance is used, new questions are paused until the next month or a plan upgrade. Each submitted question counts, including a search fallback.
